Measuring accuracy

The accuracy of axis positioning is greatly determined by the quality of position measurement. HEIDENHAIN encoders or position measurement are available in various accuracy classes to match the requirements of the application. The accuracy of encoders depends primarily on the precision of the graduation, the type of scanning and the quality of the signal processing electronics.
